This past week I found great joy in viewing the final three episodes of the second/final season of “Andor”, the prequel series to the movie “Rogue One”, which was, itself a sequel to “Star Wars: A New Hope”. The series is shockingly timely and I’m glad it got on; it may be awhile before we see something like it again. Unfortunately, both seasons of “Andor” are SO good that they make the excellent “Rogue One” look… well, less good than it was 10 years ago. And both of them make “Star Wars: A New Hope” look, well, frivolous to some degree. On the other hand, it was always meant to be a space opera/sci fi serial so the original story is the intended vibe. But grateful for the work that went into “Andor”, it’s sensational and breath taking. I cannot wait to see it again.
